In celebration of its annual competition –The Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards – Specsavers would like to hear all about your own spectacle wearing style icon.

Whether it’s a famous fashionista from days gone by or someone you know personally, Specsavers would love to know who you think wears or wore their specs with style!

On top of that, why not enter the Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards yourself – or on behalf of your partner, children or grandchildren? Specsavers will be especially pleased to hear about any male relatives or friends that you think look great in glasses.

I have to say my spectacle wearing style icon is Gok Wan. Hes just so cool. His glasses make him who he is.

Elton John always had the most fabulous glasses . I try to follow his lead but when Healthcall came to my house to sort my eyes the other week the most jazzy were purple so I got those ... I'm Elton in training

I like when Naga Munchetty on BBC Breakfast wears her glasses. She looks just as lovely with or without and isn't vain enough to use them to promote her intelligence.

Got to be Gok Wan for me.. He is the one that started off the trend to wear glasses that stick out not blend in with your face ( well in my mind anyway!)
