I've been using E45 Itch Relief Cream to ease the itchy, dry skin on my upper arms and it has been working well for me

I have had dry.flaky and itchy skin since I developed an immune deficiency but have found that the application of hydrocortisone cream 2.5mgs does address the problem which is so embarassing in social situations.

I tend to scratch until the skin comes off. The best short-term prevention is wetting the skin with cold water. I hate creams on my skin anyway.

Dry skin definitely a problem as I've got older & my skin doesn't like heavily scented lotions either so can't use the butter type product. Cooler showers help but not ideal in colder months.

I get an itchy back sometimes, I think I am sensitive to various detergents and fabric conditioners because I tend to scratch my back in my sleep. I have switched to detergents for sensitive skin

I also have dry skin and often ends up causing eczema. In the cold of months during the winter, my hands start cracking and so far none of the cream I tried worked. I wear gloves in winter minimising this symptom happening but not perfect really.

I developed a dry sore itchy area at the top of back. I tried prescription steroid and moisturizer creams which didn’t help. I used sudocrem this helped the itching but it still didn’t heal eventually I had antibiotic ointment and miraculously it cleared up in 3 days and no problems since. I was so relieved.

My skin has always been dry. As a child I suffered terribly from heat rash every summer but this has eased as an adult and instead I get occasional excema outbreaks. I find when I'm itchy it takes over life as I seem unable to put it out of my mind! I use aveeno regularly which suits me alot. I never got on with E45. I have some prescribed cream for flare ups but only use it as a last resort. I stick to simple soap and avoid using lots of products and I like wearing clothes that are soft against my skin and not too tight. I've also mostly kept covered up in the sun the last few years and if I do decide to expose my skin it is always covered in factor 30.

For reasons as yet unexplained, I have struggled to deal with dry skin on one knee and on the top of one ankle. No matter what I try it keeps returning. Infuriating!

E45 really helps with my dry skin. Doesn't really itch just gets really dry.

When I was a child (many many years ago) when my feet itched I used to rub them together until they were red raw

I have very sensitive thin skin, which is a real problem in winter. My hands get so dry that little "cracks" appear, which are very painful and I usually visit my doctor for prescribed cream, which helps to some degree. Not very practical though when your hands are constantly being used!

I get terrible dry cracked skin on my hands. As a microbiologist it is aggravated by the constant handwashing. I really have not found anything as yet that can prevent this from happening.

I get terrible dry skin on my hands and they seem to react to everything I use on them , I have not been able to find any product that helps to relieve the dryness.

I can mostly avoid dry and itchy skin if I am really careful what products I use. However I get horrendous blephitis and the skin around my eyes and below them is really dry and irritated and I have yet to find anything that helps.
