I would go anywhere in the Caribbean, I went to Barbados when I was younger with my Mum, Dad and Sister and remember thinking it was absolutely amazing. Now, I am married with 3 children and the only Thing that is stopping us is the cost.

Brazil would be an ideal destination for me - beautiful beaches, scenic landscapes, vibrant culture, delicious cuisine and plenty of sunshine!

Forgot to say, I like to get travel insurance separately from travel tickets etc so that I know that I'm getting what I want and need and am not overpaying for it

my fantasy destination is Tibet, although it no longer exists now thanks to Chinese invasion, slaughter and suppression.

I would love to visit New Zealand, an inspiring country with great countryside and wildlife and gorgeous towns

I have always wanted to travel and since retiring I’ve been lucky to explore some of SE Asia with DH. There’s still an awful lot still to see - Japan and Taiwan for starters, never mind most of India. If I had my way we’d be away for most of the winter - I’d rather spend our savings that way than in nursing home fees when we’re gaga. I always make sure to take out an annual insurance policy so we’re covered from thr moment we book the next trip.

I would absolutely love to visit New Zealand - both islands and take my time travelling around, experiencing the sights and sounds and meeting the people. I haven’t been able to go yet due to not having enough spare cash, but I’m working on it.

I would love to return to 'The Floating Island' otherwise known as Madeira. I used to holiday regularly there with my Mum for many years but after she died found it to difficult to return. It is now 10 years since I have been and so would love to return this little jewel in the Atlantic ocean.

The beautiful city of Prague and someone to travel with. What stops me mainly accessibility being wheelchair-bound. Finances are always tight but the thought of getting away somewhere different is an exciting thought. Prague is a disabled-friendly place, busses, trains, hotels, etc. and the people friendly and welcoming.

Oh how I would love to travel the world & see its mighty wonders! If I could book a ticket right now it would have to be The Galapagos .... to see the wonder of nature & the amazing beauty of the animals in their own environment. However I accept this may be a dream too far for someone with less than perfect physical health. I do relish the photos of this place of wonders which were given to me by a friend who has been there as well as a porcelain turtle which was bought there for me! Ah well many of us still have dreams!

I would love to go on a cruise to the Northern Lights, but now that my sister has died I have no-one to go with and don't fancy going alone. I have never been a confidant person and the thought of having no-one to chat to with a drink at the end of the day seems pretty lonely.

My ideal destination would be Hawaii, I would love to swim along the beach, one day it will happen. Stopping me would be the cost as would like to go for a month

I would love to go to Canada and look up my husbands relatives. My children and my husbands parents have all been and I hope that we can go too before we are too old, but can’t leave our business for long enough to make it worthwhile until we retire.

My dream destination is The Galapagos - I'm hoping one day, before it's too late that my son will do it with me. The barrier however as for most dreams come true - is money. Travel insurance is an absolute must - for anyone and everyone!

I have wanted to go to New Zealand for a long time, but my husband did not want to do the long flight Instead of saying ‘Ok I’ll go on my own ‘ I chickened out, and now the thought of that long flight has put me off- unless I won some money and could go business class!

My choice would be to Canada to go on the Rockie Mountaineer Railway Goldleaf Service and then on a cruise whale watching up the Alaskan Coast stopping off at the many interesting and scenic ports.
One can dream that someday it will happen. I watch the many tv programmes and think I am there.
Basically the cost and most trips are an early start which I have problems due to health issues so once on these modes of transport you can please your self whether you then go on additional excursions.

So many places I'd love to visit! If I were granted one trip, without conditions, I suppose it would have to be a round-the-world ticket, greedily including multiple destinations. My top (priority) stops would have to include Chile (principally the north), French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Japan, Mongolia, Vietnam and India.

I would love to visit Tahiti and Polynesia, and stay in the resort created by Marlon Brando, visit Pitcairn Island and other islands. The main things stopping me are my health and finances.

My dream destination is Cuba. Barriers: the length of the flight, my poor mobility and the finance to do it well and explore as I'd like too.

I would like to explore Iceland in a camper van with my husband......the only thing stopping us is getting the time off work!! One day, who knows.....maybe we can win Lotto and retire early

I'd love to visit Canada - to drive across the wide open spaces in a huge RV, stopping at lakeside campsites. What's stopping me? Cost is certainly a major barrier, but so is the driving: I certainly wouldn't want to do it, and partner doesn't feel happy with long distance driving in foreign countries any more. If I could afford to take the whole family, then one or both of my grown-up sons could do the driving, and we could just sit back and enjoy the trip!

We have such beautiful places in our own country as i have come to discover with my husband.We cannot afford the insurance for him to travel abroad as he has cancer.We have
discovered the Lake District and it's beautiful.That is our dream destination everytime
