I admit I am taking delight in the fact the BBC sports commentators have to

Well, two for the price of one today! Wales won against N.Ireland, and my grandson played for Wales in their school mini Euro 2016 football tournament at the Summer Fair (in absolutely awful, pouring rain, bless them) and they won the tournament! Grandad's cup runneth over!

That's what I was talking about AB, it looked like he had his statement ready prepared. I wonder if he was stepping down no matter how far England got?

I think I heard a commentator say his contract was due to end in a few days ,NI could have misheard. I now understand what you meant about the prepared sheet,

Can't help feeling sorry for the fans too....such a poor show, England.

Feel sorry for Hodgson, too. He deserved a better performance than that.

I just wonder if the England team knew the point of the game - i.e. score goals. They were pathetic - totally useless at playing a game they are grossly over-paid to do. It is their JOB, if they cannot do it, they should be made redundant. They did not deserve the support of the loyal fans who paid a great deal of money to cheer them - ended in boos, and quite rightly so.
