The last but 1 of the big 4, Although all his twitching etc got on my nerves he was good to watch and mostly a gentleman on court.
I saw a report a couple weeks ago of him powerboat racing, so looks like he intends to stay busy!

Just watched this Millie22.
Incredibly moving. Rafa in tears a lot of the time.
Thanked all of his team; his parents and all of his family who he said had supported him throughout his career. Special thanks to Tony Nadal.
Told all his parents that he loved them.
The Roland Garros crowd full house, all wearing clay-coloured tee shirts with "Merci Rafa" on them.
Novak, Andy and Roger F all came out and Rafa was so happy that they had come and so relaxed in their company, laughing and joking.
Special trophy; unique plaque on floor of Phillipe Chatrier recording his name and the 14 trophies.
Finished by bringing his little son onto the court who was adorable and waved to the crowd like a Pro.
Au revoir Rafa; thank you Rafa.

I watched it all and thought it was a fabulous tribute to such a fantastic player. Rafa will be so missed.

You are right it was incredibly moving and the plaque on the court was a lovely touch.
