Andre agassi

I really liked him. To be honest, I can't stand tennis commentators. I loathe Andrew castle and John inverdale in particular.

The Agassis are a great family- an example to all so called celebrities I think.

Was just going to say how much I’m enjoying listening to him, especially as I know so little about tennis. Love his voice and accent, too.

His comments are detracting from the game, offering his view on the shots the players should have made instead of what they have actually played.

I silenced the commentary when he started, I thought he was far too full of himself, insulting to his fellow commentators and we the listeners. He thought he had to explain every point to us. I hope he goes home soon.

He did ask if there was a way they could ask the viewers if he was talking too much as he wasn’t sure how much to say.

I enjoyed hearing from him

I preferred him to awful Andrew Castle and Tim Henman. At least Andre knows what it is to be a winner. I found him refreshing.

Honestly I am happy with commentary from anyone apart from Andrew (flippin') Castle

I don't understand tennis at all so I welcome someone explaining to me what is happening. I think people should try doing a running commentary on a sporting event whilst they're watching it and see how difficult it is.

I agree with Imarocker. Far too much chat which overlaps with play. Soooo irritating.

I was thinking of Bob Ross when I was listening to him, as his voice sends me to sleep. When I first started watching his programmes I’d fall asleep after a few minutes and only realised when I read up on him that his voice affected everyone else the same way. Wonder if they both have the same accent? (I’ll Google it…)

So Bob was born in Florida and Agassi went to tennis academy in Florida so maybe they both have a Florida accent?
