I wouldnt normally watch rugby but I certainly enjoyed watching the last half hour and the yanks get spanked. Well done the roses.

Well done Scotland for achieving solid win against Wales.

Excellent win for England yesterday
My cousins were there, it was their first time watching rugby and they loved it

I've really enjoyed this which has surprised me because I'm not the least interested in the women's football.
My great-niece, whose father is Welsh(🤣🤣🤣) is playing in an under-6s rugby team(yes , really ;who knew??; they don't do any "contact" until they're 9 or 10).
I've just watched Scotland v Wales and this was a much more evenly-matched , both teams "professional" , than the England V USA wipeout.
I wish the Yanks the best and lots of improvement but they barely seemed to know what do .!!!
Clearly the Red Roses are high quality but I doubt that they'll overrun the other teams in the same way.
Incidentally I'm glad the USA team present with a bit of glamour. I know they are all professional sportswomen and don't have to concern themselves with presentation but it's nice to know that the Rugby ladies can be glamour-girls as well as fearsome warriors if they so wish.

Watching formidable Canada steamrollering poor Fiji

Whoops, only just thought to look here for a thread! I love womens rugby and have seen England play twice before, and have high holes for tomorrow.

I was at the two Northampton matches last Sunday; a brilliant day in lovely sunshine and an almost full stadium.

Shall be at the England match tomorrow and the Ireland/Spain on Sunday.

Come on the Roses! I might have lost my voice by Sunday!

High hopes, not holes!

Red Roses take on Samoa on Saturday, Roses have made 13 changes from last week, resting the star players to face Australia the following week.

BlueSapphire Fri 29-Aug-25 19:56:38

And Marlie Packer is back at captain!

BlueSapphire Sat 30-Aug-25 20:51:49

Score today, England 92, Samoa 3....
Plucky Samoa played hard but no match for England.
Brilliant atmosphere at the ground and I was lucky enough to see the England team arrive.

You have to admire Samoa for fighting all the way, obviously in a different league to England, one of the team had left an 8
month old baby at home.

The other game that I predicted would be close turned into a cliffhanger Australia v USA, ending in a 31 - 31 draw.
