Another underhand deal with the same person at the centre…

The Asian football organisation (sorry, forgotten the name of it) has also said that it will not support Infantino's plans. That should be enough to scupper them! 🤞

Fallingstar I think greed clouded Infantino's judgement.

Indeed, there is that 😕

The brother of Trump's son-in-law is behind the company who wants to "invest" in the new FIFA company. That explains how freindly the Orange One and Infantino were during the World Cup.

Ah didn’t read this first. Of course this makes sense. Whilst Trump’s son in law is presently adding the possible decimation of Europe’s largest Flamingo reserve in Albania to build a mega holiday resort to his portfolio, his brother is hand in glove with Infantino.
Makes the Mafia look like a Sunday school picnic.

So Burnham has said Infantino isn’t the right man for the job and a senior member of staff with FIFA has resigned.
The fact is Infantino allowed politics to cloud his judgement during the World Cup when he bowed to Trump’s wishes and is now suggesting selling off the World Cup. Trump and Infantino were as thick as thieves during the World, ‘not so great minds that think like’.

Uefa and Concacaf, Uefa’s North America counterpart, have said they will boycott the world Cup if this happens. According to the FT these two associations represent almost half of Fifa's membership.

If they stick to their guns I can't see it happening.

The deal with Trump was on the cards long before the USA hosted the World Cup.

I am wondering if Trump is behind this? Gianni Infantino was very friendly with Trump during the Tournament . You know what Trump and his narcissistic personality is like, he wants to be making money out of everything and anything . Let's hope this all dies down now everyone has resigned.
Just want to say I am not a football fan.
