England teams make European football history

For the first time ever 3 English teams have reached the finals of all 3 European football competitions.
Arsenal will compete in the Champions League final, Aston Villa have reached the Europa League final and Crystal Palace complete the trio by claiming their place in the Conference League final.
It was lovely to see Prince William, an avid Aston Villa supporter, jumping around and cheering his side to victory last night.
Something good to celebrate for a change. Good luck to all 3 in their respective finals.

Yes Sarnia I was watching the Villa game with 11yr old GS, he is really chuffed.

We both laughed when we saw Prince William punch the air and hug the guy next to him, what a love,y human being he is.

It’s great news for football, but as a Forest fan I could have done without Villa beating them last night.

Oh I’m so happy too, my first ever real game was going to watch Crystal Palace in the 70s so I am thrilled. We’ve did get to London to watch one of the earlier European round and the atmosphere was electric.

Well done to them! DGS is delighted, though funnily he plays for an Italian team!
Actually, thinking about it, those three English teams are full of European players from Spain, France, Sweden etc. themselves, so it's all a bit ironic! 😆
Good luck for the finals. ⚽️

Casdon, there are a lot of Forest fans here too. Of course, 'not going down' is much more important now.

Well done!

Great news, an exciting few weeks at home too for those teams lurking at the bottom of the premiership and those bucking to go up.

I know. I listen with my hands over my ears at the moment. They did do so well to get to the semis though, it’s been a chaotic season.

Really pleased for Aston Villa. They are a very genuine, hard working team with a great.Manager.

Love Ollie Watkins. Saw him.on a BBC Interview prog after Match of the Day. He is a real genuine, kind modet man. A credit to his club and family

Remember back. In the day..When both Villa and Notts Forest under Brian Clough were top European Teams and real forces to be reckoned with.

Good Luck Villa.

Sorry to nitpick, but it is important to us - it’s Nottingham Forest, not Notts Forest.

I love that William loves football

Well as an Arsenal fan I’m hoping for a double of the premier league title and the champions league- there’s always hope!

who gives a damn ?

Well I'm happy for them all, but I get fed up with all the football on the tv. It seems most of what we get these days is repeats or football. Sometimes there's football, racing, rugby, and who knows what other sports on all the 5 main channels. Not really fair on those who pay for licences.

I'm a Crystal Palace fan and I am thrilled.
I went to Wembley to watch them win the FA Cup last year. A magical day.
DH supports Liverpool so a friendly, not always, rivalry.
Well done to all three British teams.

Me too, Meta, me too.

What a nerve-wracking game that was this afternoon!
