You obviously have first-hand experience of all these Dyson hazards, Jess! grin

Probably exfoliates the hands. Honest. But you are right about the distressing visual effect of ageing hand-skin in a Dyson.
I think you may be thinking about the vacuum cleaners that dear Sir James invented, my dear, that suck, and do so very effectively I find. Do not, repeat not, use these to dry your hands with. That would be so wrong in all kinds of ways.
And do not, double do not, apply any part of one of the esteemed Sir James's admirable vacuum cleaners to any part of the anatomy, darlings. Or anyone else's anatomy. There is no truth in any of the intriguing rumours you may have heard.

They blow? Whatever it is it's so violent I'm not sure which way it's going. If only the Dyson guy could come up with a way to tone up my thighs. Now, if he developed a handrier that did that at the same time...

Just don't look down. Plunge your hands in and look around nonchalantly.
I suppose some people must have wrinkly buttocks. prime candidates would be nude sunbathing addicts I suppose, as it is the dreaded rays that do most of the damage.

They blow, not suck! grin

Always worried that my rings might get sucked off! Or I might get sucked into it, legs flailing..what thought confused.

Move over, Pippa Middleton.

crimson have experienced those Dyson hand driers that they have in some toilets? They are quite horrifying for me, as they make the slack skin on my hands move about in the most alarming way!

It's the veins in my hands that look awful. If I rub them very quickly they look quite young again [for about 10 seconds sad]. And, at the end of the day when we reach a certain age best just to keep as much covered as possible. As someone that's had a cellulite problem for most of my life nothing much has changed for me.

My buttocks seem to be hell bent on saying hello to the back of my knees.

As long as they stay where they are my buttocks are the least of my worriesgrin It's a long time since they were seen in public and wrinkles would be the last thing I would be worrying about if they were.

Bummer - I thought I was going to see a wrinkled butt and could then compare but it was a hand!! I think my problem would right itself if I could just swivel my tum to my bum grin

JessM Mon 10-Dec-12 20:52:55

Yes I thought a real test would be a hand or a neck. But no they chose the least wrinkly bit for the experiment.

FlicketyB Mon 10-Dec-12 20:38:03

Who is going to see them anyway?

johanna Mon 10-Dec-12 20:33:01

What an interesting article jess. The photograph of the hand looks just like my hand...
The more " well upholstered " amongst us wont' look so scrawny.
But, he ho what does it matter?

It must be very hard work to look young. Who the hell wants to look young anyway? Although I must admit that it would be nice to look less tired.!

Mishap Mon 10-Dec-12 20:09:16

I cannot see my buttocks - I am happy to allow them to wrinkle as they wish!

Ana Mon 10-Dec-12 19:40:39

Ha, ha! Wrinkly buttocks are the least of my problems grin

JessM Mon 10-Dec-12 19:38:30
