I am so lazy following links and sometimes they don't always work.

If hormone imbalance caused the growth of hair, surely hormone treatment could have reversed it. Don't men undergoing gender reassignment have hormone treatment to stop face and chest hair growing?

You're not dopey, glamma - there could have been two bearded ladies! grin

Ana I must start popping over to the links and stop being so dopey hmm

Isn't that her in the link, glamma? confused

Yes, I saw her. I admire her confidence in deciding to live with it, but wouldn't want to myself.

Did anyone see the bearded lady on This Morning yesterday she had given up using electrolysis and had trimed her beard into a little goaty, she said she was now refusing to shave it off anymore and live with the hormone inbalance.

Oh I am sorry but that is gross. grin

Ana Wed 10-Apr-13 14:41:03

Nor me. I wonder why she spent years tweezing - surely her facial hair's dark enough to be treated by electrolysis?

annodomini Wed 10-Apr-13 14:34:27

hmm I don't know how I'd have reacted if fate had dealt me that hand. I doubt if I'd have had the courage to let myself grow facial hair.

I pad twelve quid for a pair of tweezers from John Lewis and now I can't find them anywhere!

Must keep looking.
