White Stuff - sizing

Hi, I've only recently discovered White Stuff and have found some cut-offs I like on their website but I'm not sure about the sizing (and can't be assed to trek to a shop). From the charts, sizing looks fairly generous. Has anyone bought clothes from WS? What are your views on their sizing?

I find them on the generous size, but I've only had tops, not bottoms. I am usually a 14, but bought a mac of theirs in a 12 which is a perfect fit. I really like their stuff and have also had a couple of tops, also in a 12. Hope this helps.

I find the tops a generous cut but the trousers less so. "Bottoms" in my size are fine or occasionally snug but the tops are always very roomy. I do like their stuff though so if I order online I sometimes get a couple of sizes to try as the returns are free

I find I have to go down a size, I love that!

Ooh - go down a size - I like that idea! Thanks all for your tips. I'll take up katykat's tip on ordering two sizes to try (especially important with bottoms I find as some seemed designed to be the least flattering possible to a 'normal' grin size 14 figure).

Debenhams do a range with a very similar style, but much cheaper.

Do you remember the name of the Debenham's range, JessM? White Stuff is quite pricey (I did find a 15% discount code + free P & P that appears to be current; code: PIANO) but haven't checked if it works yet.

Mantaray. I have ordered stuff from Debenhams in the past and they do that free postage if you collect from the store thing.

Thank you - I'll check out Mantaray.

Just browsed Mantaray and found Debenhams code, FV43 for 15% discount + free p & p. Must cut back on spending on clothes (too easy online) but it's fun getting parcels!

I love Debenhams Mantaray range so guess who'll be shopping online today too! #justifiedbythediscount

I have bought one White Stuff garment, a tunic top, in the past after walking past it about 5 times and thinking "Ooh I want that" (liked the fabric) but it was overpriced. Once I got it home I was very disappointed in the quality.
