Best moisturiser for rosacea?

My cheeks are slightly red and I occasionally get small pustules which flare up and then go. I don't think it's bad enough to see the GP for antibiotics, so I wondered what others could recommend as a good moisturiser for the condition. Is there anything that would help to prevent the pustules developing?

I get the same problem with my cheeks, and the only thing which helps me, -without having to go to the doctor, - is E45 cream. Keep using it for a few days and you should see a gradual improvement, I hope.
I now use it regularly as a moisturiser as it seems to soothe any little skin problems. Good luck.

There are moisturisers and light foundations available to counteract the redness, they have a slight green tinge to them. I'm pretty certain Boots do one in their own brand.

Clinique do one in yellow, I find though that is doesn't really look that good !
prefer a greeny one !

Thanks for that Phoenix, really helpful. I have the same problem, and for me the key is to keep to simple products and ony use a very small amount. I have been really stressed and upset lately and it makes it much worse- and so does the very cold weather.

Thank you all.

Yes, granjura, I find that stress definitely makes it worse. I've been anxious about a few health concerns lately and up pop the little spots.

I'd be fascinated to know about the herbal chickpea cream, Soutra. Do you find it effective?
