yes thanks for the suggestion. I love their clothes but unfortunately we can't find any suitable trouser outfits.
We've tried all the usual places.

may I just say , if she is a wee bit conscious of her legs , these outfits skim and nearly come down to ankle lenghth.
get her to have a look no need to buy but sometimes one can be surprised . It is nice to dress up for either the Bride or groom and after all one IS THE MOTHER OF EITHER ONE !

You don't need to buy a trouser suit. I wore chiffon wide leg trousers with a gold jacket when DD2 got married last year. I can't stand matchy, matchy stuff!

Finally here is a question I can answer compently. All three of my children were married within 2 years of each other. I'm 5.3+ and let me just say I'm too big for a ff bra. The first wedding was abroad so I had a summer dress from country casuals at house of Fraser my advice is ask one of the assistants. I was a bit intimidated because they look so errm posh. But I'd been looking for MONTHS and was beside myself. She picked something I'd have never picked they have a seamstress who made some adjustments. Job done for around £150. The next wedding was my daughters here in England nothing posh (except for her £2000+dress) more of a family shindig. I just couldn't face the big shopping centre again so while out for the day I noticed a dressmaker and had a dress made for around £160. Now I live in a very small town and in the last few years a few afghan families have started up Taylor's so I'm sure you'll be able to find one. Look for a style on line or magazine and take it to give them an idea of what you want. The next wedding was very formal in one of the best venues in Kent so needed something extra special I went to an independent shop in the next village. ( sadly now closed) I picked the most beautiful silk suit by JAEGO. ( You can find their stockists on line) It was massively expensive but the seller contacted the designer who agreed to put an 18 top on a 16 bottom. The suit was £380 and hold on to your hat I had to pay £150 for the alteration. The brides mother went to a 'mother of the bride shop' ( these have their own seamstresses ) and she paid £1000+ for her outfit so I didn't feel too extravagant. If she buys off the peg a shawl or fur shrug will minimise her bust. My best tip is tell her to ask the clothes advisors it saves so much time and angst . Tell her not to get into a fizz like me assure her she will get something that looks good to make her family proud, but most of all tell her to enjoy it.

I just want to add that's its just not fair my husband didn't turn a hair. Wedding one all the males wore the same linen suits from next so ordered on line not even tried on. Second wedding went into the men's wedding outfitters suit chosen and fitted in less than 1 hour. Third wedding all the men were in tails. So 1/2 hour to be measured and finished. He looked amazing at all three weddings I could spit

Men have it easy at weddings, though I prefer the Scottish ones with the lads in kilts.

The main thing for her to remember is a V neck for a large bust and a well fitting bra. Avoid the curse of the massive mono bosom. A hip length edge to edge jacket is always flattering over a pair of trousers and I would go for different colours for the top and trousers. Too much fabric in the same colour can make you look bigger than you are.

Not sure what her style would be but she could look at Pepperberry. They make clothes cut to accommodate a large bust. You just buy your normal size but in curvy or super curvy.
