Petite Women Shoes

I have bought Pavers shoes for quite a while now but find that they do not have as many UK2s as they used to have. Martinelli size 35s (available on the internet) are stylish and comfortable. They do take a little longer to arrive as they come from either Spain or Italy (not sure which).

I live Pavers shoes, but, unfortunately their shoes are too big for me. They give their size 2 as an EU 35, but, as I understand it, a UK 2 should be an EU 34. I've spoken to them about it, but got nowhere, which is a pity.

I'm of the petite variety, too! Have you tried Pavers? They have a shopping channel, but also outlets that you can go to and they cater for smaller sizes. If you do look them up be careful about FlyFlots that they also sell. I usually need to go down a size with them, they're a very generous fit!!

Equally pity people with long narrow feet.

I empathise Annieluds. I take a 2 1/2 as well and always struggle to get nice shoes. It was worse when I was a teenager and couldn't get grownup shoes with pointed toes and stilettos! Yes, the usual response in any shop is 'there is no demand'. As I've got older my knees are too painful to wear heels, so I do tend to buy flats. Most of my purchases are from Hotter - size 3 with an insole in a tie shoe, which I wear with trousers. I've also bought from Clarks children's range. These are very comfortable and, although flat, look smart. You're right about specialist sites being expensive - too much for me, I'm afraid.

I doubt M&S would carry the losses for making shoes of that size Annieluds - the only way they could manage it would be to increase the price of other products. Either that or ask customers to pay full price which, you have already found, would mean they are very expensive.

My son has one foot an entire size bigger than the other (and so does my eldest granddaughter) and when they were young children, it meant buying two pairs of shoes. I know it's frustrating and sadly, I don't have any solution to offer you other than keep searching; good luck.
