I agree about Wall, but very pricey. You could also look at Label Lab ( House of Fraser) also East, Monsoon , CC and Viyella.

You should try woolovers.

I love woolovers and have some great jumpers/tops but I find their cardigans -well-"classic". Maybe new season will bring surprises.

I have 6 grandchildren so doubt I'll be paying £200 ish for a cardigan but I do love them.

I had discounted Woolovers, Soutra, for the same reason, but looked again yesterday and found a waterfall one in a sort of amethyst that I might send for. BTW, is it 'Wool lovers' or Wool overs'? I can't decide but think I've plumped for 'Wool overs'

M&S is a good bet, and Monsoon is lovely too, I agree. But, if price is an issue, I have had some nice, everyday cardigans from Asda and from Sainsbury's, which are fine for pottering about the house and shopping.

I agree that the waterfall effect cardigans aren't quite so popular now, and, as they tend to be shorter at the back, I don't like the fact that my bottom is not camouflaged covered. This year's look is long all round, but you can still find a bit of a drape.

Charity shops still have these in. Drape is good.

I've just seen a nice waterfall one on the Fat Face site and there are also some on Adini.

I recommend Kettlewell Colours. They are an online shop. They aren't cheap but I've been buying from them for a few years and you can often get them reduced when they have sales. They do merino wrap-type cardis - in different colours - and a selection of viscose/jersey wraps in a variety of lengths and colours. I am on the large size (well, obese, if you must know - to my shame) and find it hard to get clothes to fit, but their wraps do a great concealing job with lumps and bumps. You can also order them to try on at home and sent them back if they aren't suitable as postage is now free Have a look at the website and see what you think

Oh, and one more recommendation: I love East clothes (again, try the website to see what they have). They are NOT cheap, but they do have plenty in their Sale lines and Outlet lines if you look on the website, and they are very good value.

Thanks all. I've been buying kettlewell for ages too but I was looking for something a bit more 'woolly'. I've got a few of their drapey things and love them Rowan.

East haven't got what I'm looking for in my colours but i have bought a scarf and a handbag [up to now ] And, in fact, I've just been to the post to send back an East jacket that I tried really hard to keep but it just wasn't right on me.

Adini is new to me but I loved some of their stuff cangran - thanks for that! I hadn't thought about Kaleidoscope either phoenix so thanks for the reminder.
