A friend told me to use aveeno, that's good for putting makeup on top of, as it sinks in quickly. I just keep forgetting I have it.

Lately I've been using a vitamin E moisturiser from the Body Shop that DD gave me. It seems pretty good so far. I think it's about £11.

I use bio oil and olive oil, first thing after I have cleaned my face in the morning. Then hopefully by the time I need to go out they have sunk in enough to let me put foundation on if I need it. I don't have many wrinkles at all, I'm getting more now under my eyes. I used to use almond oil, it's a bit lighter and sinks in more quickly than olive oil.

If you wear gloves when washing up, always put oil on your hands first, It soaks in beautifully while you wash up.

Bio oil is good also and lasts forever [although no good to wear under make up, but it's god to put on overnight].

M&S Pure range is good especially the face oil, reasonable price too

A little olive oil added to your normal moisturiser will have much the same effect.

I bought 3 last time and the woman standing next to me said 'Oh, your wrinkles aren't that bad!'

But what to use instead?

The Boots one now comes in a larger size Kitty - I always do the 3 for 2 thing as well which makes it work out a bit cheaper.

I always buy 2 bottles when I see it as I know they sometimes run out of stuff. The concealer pen at £3.49 is also really good that is not always in stock.

They sometimes get stuff back on the shelves, so keep an eye open.

My local Aldi no longer seems to have the serum that came top in all those surveys so, what to use instead? The one they had in is not good enough on my dry skin. I did the boots trial on GN and really liked that one but I would prefer to find a cheaper one.

Any suggestions, before my face dries to a crisp!
