Foundation for dry skin.

I on the other hand would like to find a foundation with a pink tone rather than beige tone. Any suggestions?

Waitrose do a lovely fragrance free face oil called Pure. It is just as good as the expensive ones. x

I bought some of their face oil when it was with an offer and haven't used it yet. I must try it.

I remembered that what the Clarins lady showed me to do was mix a little of their face oil in with your moisturiser before applying foundation- I must go and get some my face is dry after the winter too.

I use Clarins too and I have a sensitive skin. It doesn't seem to show up the lines.

If you go into one of the stores that sells the brand they will try it for you on your skin so you can see and even go away and let it settle to see if it really works.

I use Clarins, and they do various foundations to suit different skin types. Boots, John Lewis, Debenhams etc have skincare advisers.

Sometimes I will blend some moisturiser with foundation and then apply it to give a less 'made-up' look for daytime.

I have also used Avene moisturiser (it has an accent over the first e but can't do this on the pc). They do a moisturiser with a slight green tinge which is anti-redness, good for skin which gets rosacea. Boots often have small sample tubes so that you can try it out before spending on a big tube.

Have you tried using a light fake tan face cream that will give you a bit of colour under foundation. I use one every two or three days otherwise I look white as a sheet and people keep asking if I'm I'll!

Bobbi Brown are very good at this sort of problem I would try them first I'm using a lovely tinted moisturiser of theirs at the moment and a creme blusher- or perhaps Clarins they are consistently good with all skin problems.
