They looked so happy! He looked great in the kilt, and her dress was beautiful.
However, not sure I can say much about the bridesmaids! If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything!

I think it was a lovely idea to have the wedding in Dumb!and.

In once sang at a wedding where the groom wore a kilt, and during the sermon he sat in the choir stalls, opposite the choir. No - he did not wear underpants, and we had a job controlling the hysteria of the little choir girls in the front row who had the best view!

I also thought it was lovely the way the whole town celebrated with them and put up all the decorations - how nice that there was no tacky selling of the wedding to Hello with the bride covered up/hidden and everyone banned from taking photos. I thought Andy scrubbed up really well - I once went to a wedding where the groom and all his male relatives wore kilts and they all looked amazing - there is clearly something about a kilt...

I've just looked at the pictures on BBC Scotland news and I do like his gran's outfit.
Good luck to them both.

Yes - it looked like something out of one of my less-visited kitchen cupboards!

Yes, it was lovely to see them looking so happy and relaxed, and I liked the dress.

Not so keen on Judy's hat though!

They both looked very happy indeed and it was lovely to see them both having such a good time and smiling instead of biting their nails at tense matches.

I thought that her dress was charming - feminine but fashionable - lovely.

I actually thought the Duchess of Cornwall looked brilliant at her wedding to Prince Charles. Her outfit was a sort of greeny blue, not colourless at all? And that hat with the circular feather thingies suited her, too.

I thought Judy Murray looked great. She has a figure to die for so can wear very stylish clothes. A little splash of colour would have been nice though.

The Scottish papers have extensive photos. All look lovely, but I was surprised to see all white/ cream being worn by guests. I always though this was the prerogative of the bride.

I realise that we all have our own personal tastes and some of my comments will not match other Gransnetters but here goes.

Andy looked great in his sporran and for once he was smiling.

Kim, his new wife looked lovely in her wedding dress, which had a slightly old fashioned feel about it. Her head band was very natural and it was good to see her hair held back so we could see her face.

To be honest I can't stand seeing usually over weight women in strapless wedding dresses. I am not that slim myself so I understand how showing less flesh can look better.

Judy Murray, who I realised was someone with a really nice sense of humour on SCD, looked sensational in her very elegant dress, hat and coat, however I have noticed some women who are grey, or blonde, wear virtually colourless clothes. She would have looked so much better with a bit more colour in her outfit.

The Duchess of Cornwall did the same thing at her wedding, lovely clothes but colourless.
