Errm, how do I get it off?

Oh heavens! What a palaver! It's just taken about half an hour to get approx. 90% of it on the toes of one foot! shock

I tried sparkly once, a clear one over coloured polish. It was very difficult to get rid of the little flakes of silver, although the actual polish did come off.hmm
Think you'll just have to soak your cotton pad and leave it on the nail for a while!.

Good thinking!

Try painting some nail varnish you don't really like over the top of it, then after a minute or two wipe it off. It might take the top layer off the sparkly lilac enough for the remover to work on the residue.

Worth a try!

That lilac sparkly nail varnish that I put on my toes on Friday?

When I started applying it, it went on as a sort of colourless thing, with a few sparkly bits. Mr suggested that rather than paint coats on, I sort of "dabbed" it to get enough coverage.

We both agreed that the end result looked ok, but that it might be an idea in future to buy a lilac coloured ordinary one, and use the sparkly as a top coat.

Tomorrow I am planning to wear a burnt orange cotton overshirt, with some sort of silky fabric taupe coloured (oh alright beigeish) blush cargoes, and thought the orange nail polish would look better.

I am using an acetone free polish remover, and so far it hasn't touched it!

Short of actually filling a bowl and dunking my toes (impossible, I haven't got enough, remover that is, not toes) or taking some sort of sander to my toe nails) I am stuck.

I think in the short term I may just have to paint over, but the build up could be a problem!
