Make-up for sensitive skin

Gagagran - don't take selfies, is my advice! I took one recently (with make-up on) and was just as shocked as you. In my case, I THINK I am much younger than I actually am, so even looking in the mirror is a bit of a shock. Why not just stick to a good moisturiser and a bright lipstick? I think as we get older less is definitely more in the make-up department.

I find Clarins is OK - I think I use the Skin Illusion one - Clinique is supposed to be good for sensitive skin but I don't get on with it as well.

If anyone can recommend some good, non-run mascara for sensitive eyes I would be delighted, because I think I have tried most brands and still get runny eyes if I wear it (mainly I have given up on any eye makeup at all).

My arms are not long enough to take a good selfie, they need to be at least 20 feet long

You could try mineral foundation/powder. All natural and there's a sensitive one - My Beautiful Earth. No nano particles either!

I think you need first to have some idea what it is your face is not happy with. I have a problem with parabens, especially those put in eye products so I always go for organic products. I also have a problem with the standard 'suitable for sensitive skin' lines as well. I recently bought some non-organic body lotion that made a big play that it was paraben free - but it still made my skin very itchy.

Anything hypoallergenic should be OK.
I use l'Oreal for the very aged {secret wish to look like Helen M...} eyes and face creams,cleanser,toner etc
No 7 is good for makeup. Anything unscented.
Never do a selfie unless you want to feel thoroughly awful.
Recently gone back to solid soap as allergic to liquid hand soap.
Never use soap and water on your face.

Always use a soft focus lens and photo shop the image afterwards

I'm not sure about the bright lipstick idea. Unless you get the right shade it can be very ageing on an older face!
