Tweezers
Lipstick
Mascara
eybrow pencil
Blusher

No. 7 mature range creams ( bit of a cheat - I use 5 different ones a day!)
Bare Minerals foundation
Ditto eyeshadow quartet
Benefits Real mascara
Eyebrow powder

but then there's the blusher, highlighter, eyeliner & volumising shampoo not to mention body moisturisers, perfume, conditioner, hair brush, dryer, straighteners , nail varnish etc.

I can't pack light to go away!

Mind you isn't it good we are all still looking after ourselves & care what we look like?

What is "Ausie shampoo"?

Kayteeb53 Fri 29-Jan-16 09:44:38

Boots No7 serum foundation
Tweezers
Benefit 'Their Real' mascara
Bare minerals powder eyeliner
Dr Organic Argan oil lip balm
Estée Lauder concealer

If I'm honest I could go on - do like the Dr Organics range at Holland and Barratt - if you buy 5 items they are currently 50% off, and not expensive to start with. Shampoos, conditioners and face products are lovely

Oh good.

Benefit eyebrow palette

Dior Star foundation

Bobbi Brown concealer

Bobbi Brown blusher

Clarins Hydra Quench tinted moisturiser

Yes I know it sounds a lot and high maintenance but it last ages and I don't buy anything for months and I don't wear it all at the same time- Ok sometimes I do if we are going out which we don't much.

TerriBull Thu 28-Jan-16 21:46:26

Moisturiser
Eyebrow pencil and Benefit eyebrow brush (that's two really but I need them both)
Touche Eclat (I use it on my eyelids because the skin tone between my eyelid and brow tends to be uneven)
Lipstick, usually a lip gloss type of brush
Last but not least Colour Wow like a block mascara for touching up regrowth hair roots - wonderful best beauty product I've discovered in the last couple of years.

Tweezers
Foundation (Elizabeth Arden)
Concealer ( " " )
Lipstick
Crystal clear lip gloss

I often fly with carry on bag only, so can't pack toiletries in the hold of the aircraft. The number of times the lip gloss gets taken out and inspected is weird. I couldn't cope if it were confiscated!

If we can have 5 more, these are my Holy Grail (HG) beauty products

DHC Mascara Perfect Pro Double Protection
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
Garner BB Cream
Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Kit
Revlon Colorstay 24H Foundation

Ethel I look about 80 without my makeup, but once it's on I look nearer my age of 69, hopefully.

I have cleansed and moisturised every day since I was 16 and it has paid dividends as I have few wrinkles, but the colour of my skin without makeup is all uneven and there are a few saggy bits. hmm

annodomini Thu 28-Jan-16 21:00:46

Aveda Blue Malva shampoo
Argan oil conditioner (bought in Home Bargains)
Moisturiser (Olay) with factor 20
Foundation (Max Factor)
Blusher (Barbara Daley at Tesco)

I don't have anything, if I went on holiday(fat chance) and forgot my make up bag I would just wash my face and comb my hair and be 'natural', I don't think make up makes much difference.

tiredoldwoman Thu 28-Jan-16 19:48:03

Euphoria perfume
tweezers
kohl eyeliner
vaseline
Avon concealer
re Aussie Miracle - it turned me into an aborigine ! I couldn't get the brush through my hair !

NanSue Thu 28-Jan-16 19:28:46

Mascara
Eyebrow powder
Foundation
lipstick
Volumising mousse

Eloethan Thu 28-Jan-16 19:14:14

These are mine, but I can't narrow it down to five:

bikergran Thu 28-Jan-16 18:59:28

imperfect Im sure I ahve seen Argon oil/shampoo etc in Body care shops but maybe there isn't one near you.

janeainsworth Thu 28-Jan-16 18:13:17

Imperfect you can get a wide range of Argan oils and shampoos from Boots.

janeainsworth Thu 28-Jan-16 18:12:12

I don't count my hairbrush or nail file as a 'beauty item'. They're pieces of normal kit, like a toothbrush.

My items are
1. Olive Oil cleanser from DHC
2. John Frieda volumising shampoo, lotion & hairspray
3. Boots Restore & Renew face cream
4. Eyeliner & mascara
5. Bobbi Brown Parisian Red Lipstick
smile

Imperfect27 Thu 28-Jan-16 18:07:19

Argon shampoo and conditioner (ordered online as can't find it in the shops!)
J'adore perfume
Moisturising wipes
Handcream

Indinana Thu 28-Jan-16 18:04:00

nina I too thought shampoo/shower gel/soap and of course a hairbrush/comb went without saying hmm. But if we are to state the obvious, then here's my second go:

Shampoo
Conditioner
Shower gel
Soap
Hairbrush

Followed by my original 5 upthread ^^ grin

ninathenana Thu 28-Jan-16 17:51:28

Tweezers
Moisturizer
Aussie shampoo (or should shampoo/shower gel fo without say hmm)
Hair brush
Nail file/clippers

kittylester Thu 28-Jan-16 17:44:44

If we can have another 5

Volumising shampoo (I have very very fine hair)
Moisturising shower gel
Aveeno cream (scaly legs too)
Hairbrush
Hot brush

pollyparrot Thu 28-Jan-16 17:18:34

Don't some of you ladies value a hairbrush or shampoo over makeup? Is it just me?

M0nica Thu 28-Jan-16 17:11:57

Moisteriser
Blusher
Eyebrow pencil
Argan oil
Face massager
