A Spring/Summer jacket

I got a lovely unlined crepe jacket from Evans last year for a wedding. Is that too dressy for what you want? Are you looking more for a jacket for everyday?

I've just bought this one. Not been warm enough to wear it yet but I'm pleased with the quality and fit.

Thank you both. I am looking for something quite smart but not dressy - like a blazer. Just bought DH a nice one from M & S but nothing like that in their women's wear. So annoying that they have kept classics for men but not women.

Cotswold Collection any use?

I bought a lovely dove grey jacket in Joules last year and have had quite a few compliments.

Country Casuals have well made clothes which I usually buy in their sale.

I like Country Casuals but have to be careful as I find some of their stuff too short for me (in the normal range, not petite range). And I am not that tall!

I often see other people in something I like but can never find anything for myself

Laura Ashley do a soft jacket with no fastenings. I bought one a couple of years ago and it's not too smart; jackets can make me look like a headmistress! I saw a similar jacket still in stock there last month.

Thank you for your help I like the LA ones but their site was playing up this morning so I ordered the Per Una plain linen one which is just what I was looking for - they didn't have anything like it when I went into their large flagship store last week so well spotted thank you.

I bought a very nice summer jacket from Damart on line. It was a special offer - only £11 - and they had four or five colours including a warm coral pink, navy, and turquoise. I have the pink and have worn it with white, bluey grey and also black. It is a lightweight jersey with two small pockets and three buttons. Very comfortable, easy to wear and I've already had a few compliments. Can't be bad.

Sainsburys have been doing a "Double your points" offer in the past few days, so i doubled mine and got a nice navy blazer absolutely free!

Just bought this in Matalan, will go with several of my summer dresses which have grey in them. It looks like leather and suede but isn't and feels very soft and light - good alternative to cardigan.
