Dress probably in the charity shops by now.

I thought it was odd as I believe they went bust!

Cotton occasion dresses are a lovely choice they're breathable, comfortable, and perfect for warmer weather events. I agree that while they may not always look as dressy as synthetic fabrics, the right cut and accessories can really elevate the look. It’s great to see more stylish options in natural fabrics becoming available!

Too fitted for me with my new curves. Lovely dresses though.I usually end up at Roman.

Cotton occasion dresses are such a lovely choice—comfortable yet elegant, especially in warmer weather. I’ve had luck finding flattering, age-appropriate styles on -, where there’s a great selection of cuts and colors that work beautifully for weddings, garden parties, and everything in between.

Very pretty. I'd buy similar if it had more boobage coverage.

Cotton occasion dresses are a fantastic choice for comfort and elegance, especially in warmer climates. Many Gransnet users have shared their experiences, highlighting brands like Bombshell for stylish options that cover knees and upper arms, perfect for weddings . Others recommend exploring Liberty's fine cotton fabrics or checking out selections from Seasalt and Monsoon for quality and design . These choices ensure you stay cool and chic during special events.

Thanks gransnetters, sisters all. I am under- endowed in the boob dept too, but this dress is not too low. I'm 5'7" and a bit, so I won't look like a set of remaindered curtains. Next problem: disguising varicose vein on the back of one leg. I've cracked it with Vichy concealer.

It looks fab jaxie I hope you enjoy wearing it. I love my bombshell dress. I'm not particularly well endowed in the boob department but it's very flattering.

I could never wear a dress like that and I never have, it just doesn't suit my shape.

What a lovely selection - good choice!
I usually look round the Liberty fabric dept. when I have a day in London, and occasonally buy some. The fine cottons are over £20 a metre for a start, but you could often get remnants. Their tweeds etc are gorgeous but prices out of my range.

oops hadn't finished - I wanted to say enjoy the wedding - you will look fab in your lovley dress and it will be worth the money.

They look lovely but I'm not very tall and I thought I might look swamped.

After a fruitless search for a cotton dress to wear at a wedding in a hot climate that covers my knees and upper arms I have just bought a stunner on line from Bombshell, as recommended on a recent Gransnet item. It cost a bomb, but what a clever design.
