I did rather heavily slather it on. Years ago I used Sure roll on deodorant and that fine.

I use only a very small amount of roll-on deodorant. I wonder if it takes so long to dry because some of you are using more than you need.

Ha ha! Rooster! I'm going to bin my roll on deodorant. Back to solid ones.

I use a solid deodorant - can't stand the feeling of a roll-on drying under my armpits! Strut around the bathroom like a rooster waiting for it to dry!

I use a mineral stick, like liz46. If I use anything else, I start to get itchy after a few days.

I don't either Ana and mumofmadboys. I shower each morning, get dried and dressed and that's it. I do have deodorant, and apply it if I am going out anywhere special though.

Same here, mumofmadboys, although I don't have a bath but rather a shower most mornings.

I've never had sweaty or smelly armpits and since all the hair seems to have disappeared now, deodorant doesn't seem necessary. We're all different of course!

I don't use a deodorant at all! I have a bath each morning and that is it! I am not a particularly sweaty person!

I use a spray on deodorant because I cannot be faffed waiting for a roll on deodorant to dry. It probably costs me a lot more money as the spray type does not last as long but for me it is worth it.

I know that my roll on takes a while to dry, so I apply it as soon as I have towelled dry after washing.
By the time I've applied body moisturiser, foot cream and dressed my bottom half, the roll on has dried and I can dress my top half.
Nothing else is as effective as a certain brand of roll-on for me, so it's worth the slight hassle.

I use a mineral stick. It lasts for ages so is economic and does not contain aluminium as many deodorants do. You leave your armpits wet after washing and rub it on.

I use a roll-on and to be honest I've never checked if its dry confused I just put it on and then finish drying off and dress.. I not noticed any adverse effects or marks on clothes etc.

Does anyone find that roll-on deodorants take about an hour to dry? I usually use a solid deodorant but bought a roll-on and a spray one for a change. With the spray I feel I might miss bits [and breathe it in] and I can't stand there flapping my arms for ages with the roll on. What do others use??
