I like them too jings - it's the name that I don't understand. The leg shape looks no different to a tapered leg trouser as far as I can see, so what's with the peg leg moniker?

I like 'em. Might get some. Good on a bike. Trouser bottoms won't catch on pedals. And I look a bit less dumpy in slim leg trousers.

They look very 80s to me and most sizes are sold out!!
Maybe they hang themselves out to dry?

I was looking for some soft Tencel trousers in M&S yesterday - thank goodness I didn't notice these!

Yup, it's the cut off pirate look, short so they could scrub the decks and not get their peg leg twisted up in the material ( or something.)
In that case I'm definitely not buying any - I might be expected to start scrubbing the floor

What is the difference between these peg leg trousers and tapered leg trousers? From the pictures, it's very difficult to tell.
