Stickers on new shoes

I often see people walking along in front of me with the stickers on the soles of their shoes visible. The price tags are more visible on high heels and look very tacky. Anyone else with a hangup over this? I have an irresistible urge to tell people the tags cans be seen, but fear their reaction.....

I am always amazed they haven't taken them off!

Some stickers are impossible to remove (although I have never had any trouble with those on shoes). I recently bought a birthday card and when I tried to remove the price sticker it tore the card! I also bought some new drinking glasses and couldn't get the stickers off even after they had been through the dishwasher!

When I was a choirgirl (many many years ago) we used to have a game of spotting the price stickers when people came up to take communion. Its bothered me ever since and removing them its the first thing I do when buying new shoes.

I always remove price stickers and as quickly as possible otherwise it leaves a mess. Bottles of sticky stuff remover work on every surface you can imagine, even fine wine glasses. I imagine it is widely available but I bought mine in Lakeland.

When my son was in choir and doing weddings he noticed a number of grooms had had stickers put on the soles of their shoes by silly friends with right and left on them or other slogans.

I agree harrigran it works wonders. I also do not like to see the price on shoes (or anything).
