Can anyone recommend a light face suncream?

I have been using Olay with spf15 but thought I would go for 25 as it is summer and we are going to California. I had very sore, streaming eyes with it as I have had with other sun creams I have used on my face. I have had a rodent ulcer removed in the past and another bit of sun damage treated with picata so I know I should be careful. I guess it will be a shady hat and a seat in the shade.

Simple make one that is factor 30. A couple of years ago I developed a dry flaky patch on my cheek that was caused by sun damage. I'm no sun worshipper, in fact, I made a conscious decision to avoid the sun more than 30 years ago! Still there you go. ? I've been using Simple's product since my treatment finished. It feels ok and not too heavy or greasy.

I am with bags. My usual moisturiser has SPF 15 and I put a hat on or sit in shade if sunny.

Clarins have a very good range - used by the Queen I am given to understand.

Heliocare factor 50 is a very light gel with a slight tint .Expensive but a tube will last all year. Recommended by a beautician friend.

I like Clinique's age spot corrector. It spf45 and I put it on under makeup. Feels like a serum.
