Lightweight hairdryer

I bought a Boots travel one £12 for holidays recently - its very powerful and lightweight and does the job as well as my larger one.

I also have the Boots travel hairdryer and as Teetime says it does the job as well as larger dryers. Would recommend it.

Teetime, I did consider a travel one as I have a travel one for France and that does the job. I think I saw one that had an interchangeable plug so might go for that

My very tasteful (?) bright pink travel hairdryer came from Superdrug and I think it was about £9 - several years ago. It dries my very fine hair just as quickly as my larger dryer.

I also have difficulty using a heavy hairdryer but have developed two strategies - 1) leave blow drying of hair until hair has nearly dried naturally, 2)dig out stand (remember them?) for hairdryer, place on mantelpiece and rotate self in front of it - two hands free for shaping and brushing. HTH.

I also have the Boots travel hairdryer and as it is so much lighter than the other one, I use it all the time now.

I use this one every day. It's very cheap and does the job just as well as the all-singing, all-dancing expensive ones.

I've had the Boots one which I keep at work for "emergencies" (?) but at home I use one which I bought from Argos 4 years ago - it's a travel hairdryer so it folds up really small, is really lightweight and does the job fantastically. I actually bought it because I have short hair and I found the more powerful 2000W hairdryers were too strong and didn't give me enough styling time, and also on holiday they made me sweat too much (I know, TMI...). The Argos one is only 1200W so much better for short hair. I think it's called a "Visiq" and it cost £5...!!! I know, unbelievable, but it's great ... in fact I love it so much I bought another one to replace it when it eventually gives up the ghost. I've used it every day for 4 years so it's not done badly so far ....

That's really cheap and seems perfect for my short hair. where I can order for it?

vmundhra here's the link. It's gone up in price (£6.99) but still a bargain - the only thing that's different is the removable styling nozzle which is a slightly different shape.
