Love your dress, and with you on high heels not worth it any more! I got some pretty flat pumps from NEXT with a bit of jewel trim.

I find Gabor do lovely, trendy but comfortable flats. Often with a small, dressy embellishment .

Hotter 'Jewel' are very good. Lots of colours, neat little bow for interest. They've got a sale on right now.

lovely dress, though I couldn't get away with it. Fortunately I have found something for one we are going to

If you don't want to spend a fortune, then New Look do flat pumps, usually with a little bow on the front. I bought a white lacy look pair for a wedding and they are so comfy and looked great with my peach dress. They do lots of different colours.

All of these shoes sound very appropriate. Dresses and flats can be smart. Purely personal, but I think the effect can be spoiled if dark tights are worn. (Sorry, a pet dislike).

I love my low heeled pewter Gabor shoes for special occasions. They go with almost everything.

Huge thanks to LyndaW; I also needed grey or silver stylish flats for a wedding and got those ones (Florence flats)... in the Boden sale this morning! And by the way, I think minimo's jersey dress is just beautiful!

You have lots of options on colour of your shoes with that dress. Are you wearing a hat or fascinator? Have you got a handbag yet?

Hotter have quite a nice sale on just now .

Are you able to wear a very low heel? I wanted silver shoes for my daughter's wedding and found a lovely pair on a website that sells dance shoes. Very reasonably priced too. If so, just Google silver dance shoes and your size.

Have a look at www.vandal.com. I have bought a pair of their low wedges with peep toe and a pompom (Kingswood) in nougat suede for my granddaughters wedding next week- they have many designs and colours and are very comfortable, stylish and last well - not cheap mine were £75 but worth it I thought.

Boden! I have a pair of these. Leather, metallic, very dressy but so comfy.

Dodgy knee means heels are out for me sad so I'm looking for something stylish but flat for a wedding at the end of the month. This is the dress I've bought so I'm thinking grey/black/silver? Any ideas on where to find pretty flats?
