I was in Debenhams this morning and they had loads of CC, so maybe try their website.

So, where have I been going until recently if CC had disappeared from the high street.

I never look at the names of shops, but I thought it was CC (perhaps they had been taken over by Austin Reed and I didn't notice).

I will hang on to my Planet jacket then, it might be an heirloom. It's very useful anyway.

I used to buy CC when I was at work as their trousers and knits were really good quality and lasted forever. They disappeared a few years ago from the high street, sadly Planet seemed to go too. There only seems to be Jaegar left of this quality on the high street and their prices are staggering and I find it a bit dowdy.

Many years ago I modelled for CC in a charity fashion show. I bought a pink jacket from them and it was very useful for many years.

Wondering if other Gransnet members are missing Country Casuals? It was my 'go to' store for Posh Frocks and seems to have been unique in offering dresses that were longer than 'on the knee'. Have just bought new one from ebay but wondering if any technical expert can tell me how to view old versions of the CC website to try to identify jackets and accessories that were intended to co-ordinate with the dress I have found? Then I may be able to make other ebay/preloved/gumtree purchases. The link from the Austin Reed Website just says that the CC name has been sold and an announcement will be made shortly. Any suggestions much appreciated.
