I think style starts with a great haircut - get that right and everything else is instantly perked up!

I like to go on pinterest from time to time as well for ideas, especially if I have a holiday coming up - i do enjoy buying a new dress or skirt for wearing away.

I think the secret to looking stylish is a good haircut and dressing in plain colours. Although I love printed things to look at, the women who look really stylish (in my opinion anyway) are those who dress in block colours and then accessorise well and have good hair. I try and emulate this but often fall of the wagon grin

We had a ceremonial burying of a favorite shirt today. It had paint on it from over 20 years of decorating, many very sexy holes, but bitumen was it's final death.

Nice to see crimple gone, also the blue rinse. Yes I agree grandmas are much more style conscious.

Has anyone else noticed how many very smart ladies of 60+ there seem to be recently? I see so many when I'm out shopping, wearing trousers, jeans or leggings with beautiful, colourful tunics. Others are wearing maxi dresses in marvellous patterned fabrics. The tight "Granny" perm seems to be on the way out and is replaced by a smart cut. And of course lots of lovely scarves and jewellery.
