Any takers?

I wish I'd known that before DH scattered them with abandon all over our last garden! Had absolutely no effect whatsoever. We have a similar problem here. I cleared a strawberry bed earlier this year which I am now leaving fallow. The cats thought this was an open invitation for them to use it as a toilet. DH was cutting down some pyracantha so I scattered some of the branches on the offending area and it seems to be doing the job, but I doubt it'll stop them going somewhere else. They aren't fussy.

Gillybob, do try the Silent Roar pellets, but only sparingly. We tried it and used the whole packet in the hopes that more was, well more! Not true, as a high dose doesn't work. I emailed the manufacturers, as it's quite pricey, and had a reply from a lovely lady employee. She told me that using all the contents at once was wrong and kindly sent us a replacement box. Good luck with the neighbourhood moggies.???

Oooops. or should I say poops?

I know people love their pussies but its not fair when they don't dirty in their own yard and use mine. I have to go on a poop scoop before the children can play in the garden. I mean surely a good cat owner would teach it to use a litter tray?

It's not poops. It's pellets that have been soaked in lion pee and then sterilised. Doesn't smell or anything. I saw a neighbour's cat shoot hell-for-leather across our garden after I had put it down.

I have read about tiger poop jings i suppose it's worth a try.

Failing that I might be putting something in an auction myself quite soon.

So long as it is out, and thoroughly, I don't mind.

The problem I have harrigran is that I have one of the very few gardens in the neighbourhood. Other than mine, most are very small and paved. I have a lot of fencing at the back and couldn't afford to replace it any time soon. Plus I have a lovely tree that "it" uses as a step over. I have a tiny front garden too but the fencing is wrought iron and can't be changed as I live in a long terrace of town houses. I have planting on either side of my front door when everyone else is paved. I have tried plug in cat scarers, bottles filled with water, pepper.... you name it.

gilly you need some fencing like mine, smooth metal and nothing for the cats to get their claws into. I have had the fencing for six years now and cats hate it and do not come near. There are no gaps underneath the fence, base is firmly in concrete. No cats but a hedgehog uses my sitting out area in the front of the house as a public toilet every night. I do not mind the hedgehog so much as they are fairly neat pellets that are easily removed.

I wish someone would stuff next doors cat.

I am sick to death of it sh*tting all over my garden and patio. Most recently it is doing it under my garden table on my outdoor rug that the children play on for god's sake !!

We quite often go to auctions but I hope to God I never see anything like that!!
