The other baggy jeans thread got me thinking...

So I went and counted. 9 pairs! More than one for every day of the week. blush Anyone else want to reveal?

pheonix agree about edit, I mean if they fit my back I can't do them up

goose1964 Fri 07-Oct-16 10:51:55

none, find not fit me properly, if they fit my back I can do them up & if they fit my stomach I can store tennis balls around the back

MTDancer Fri 07-Oct-16 10:45:27

None, as I have Lichen Sclerosis and cannot wear them

Sheilasue Fri 07-Oct-16 10:00:19

Two pairs of blue denim and one black, want to try and get out of wearing jeans leggings don't suit me so going to get some trousers

BlueBelle Fri 07-Oct-16 06:52:50

I have loads black, brown, grey, bottle green, burgandy and navy they are my daily wear Then I have cut off ones for summer and just above knee denim shorts haha
I bought the bottle green pair because I loved the colour then found I already had them in my wardrobe haha I have quite long slimish legs so like the skinny legged type until the fashion changes again

About 12. My weight hasn't changed since I was a teenager. I pretty much live in jeans except in the summer, when it is very hot here.

Wish there was an edit button for the typos!

There are more pairs in this house than I care to count, let alone admit to!grin

However, some of them I can no longer pull up over my cellulite ridden jodhpur thighs, and in the case is some that can, it would appear that the button and the button hole have had a major falling out and are refusing all contact with each other blush sad

I caught sight of my jeans-clad backside in a mirror and went straight home to change! Never worn them since sad Have tried jeggings but I have long legs and they just kept slipping down so now wear stretchy tapered pants and love them. I tend to wear long skirts as well in the summer and boot-cut trousers in winter but would love to be a contender for bum-of-the-year in jeans!!

5 different shades and styles of blue denim stretch straight leg.
1 black denim
1 burgundy
1 grey
1 caramel ankle grazers
1 lime green Dash cut offs.
1Asda pale blue cut offs.
1 white stretch jeans
5 pairs linen trousers various colours
3 pairs black dressy trousers various styles
3 pairs palazzo pants

9 pairs elasticated M & S jeggings in various colours - with boots etc in winter, rolled up with cuff in summer.

Excepting the Asda and Dash - every other pair is out of M & S Clearance Outlet and cost no more then £5 a pair.

Sorry... Deedaa

Coolgran65 Thu 06-Oct-16 20:29:06

Feed as - try a wee fold over dart on the waistband, it can be enough to stop them slipping.

Deedaa Thu 06-Oct-16 18:02:26

I have two black pairs that I wear for most of the winter and one blue pair that I don't wear much because the waist is a bit big and I'm forever pulling them up

Greyduster Thu 06-Oct-16 16:28:35

Three and I don't look good in any of them!

Leticia Thu 06-Oct-16 16:18:17

Too many to go and count! I live in them- they are so comfortable.

oldgoat Thu 06-Oct-16 15:59:32

One senior editor on Vogue magazine professed to having 82 pairs!

Grannyknot Thu 06-Oct-16 15:30:51

silversurf I agree with you. I generally hate the damn things.

I'm constantly amazed at how much clothes people have ... for just one body. grin I think if I have 9 pairs of trousers altogether that's plenty. Same with shoes. I mean, we've only got one pair of feet!

I've got one pair of jeans, baggy style that I've had for probably about 5 years.

None , I stopped wearing jeans when I no longer was a size 12, it is just not flattering from the back ! I wear lots of stretchy tapered pants -not all at once ! I have them in different colours and patterned ones too . They are very flattering and easy to wear , jeans would be too uncomfortable now .

Cherrytree59 Thu 06-Oct-16 15:06:47

Too many!
Shades of blue
Black
Grey
Purple
White
Boot cut, Straight leg. Narrow leg
Lightweight for summer, heavier weight winter
But All High Waist
When I've got my jeans on, no need for control pants they do the job nicely
I live in jeans,
great for looking after GC
Best pair with nice top and boots or sandals ready for day out.

M0nica Thu 06-Oct-16 15:00:02

2 pairs worn regularly in the UK
2 pairs worn regularly in France
I discarded pair, just in case
2 very old pairs for gardening, 1 in France, 1 in England

Mumsy Thu 06-Oct-16 14:26:42

None as they are too uncomfortable, they put too much pressure on my arthric knees.

tanith Thu 06-Oct-16 14:19:52

3 blue
2 black
1 white
1 tan
1 burgundy
2 prs jean shorts (knee length]

Some are older and worn daily some for 'best'.

petra Thu 06-Oct-16 14:12:35

One blue denim, one black, one white, one black cord. I don't hoard anything.

NotTooOld Thu 06-Oct-16 12:15:19

Hmm, yes, silversurf, jeggings are definitely more comfortable than jeans but it's not the same somehow. I currently have three pairs of jeans, all blue, which I wear on a 'slim day' (there seem to be fewer of those than there were) otherwise I live in jeggings of which I have embarrassingly too many to count.

Incidentally, I have just returned from MandS where I hoped to find some smartish black trousers with a stretchy, as opposed to elasticated, waistband. To my amazement they have a whole department of stretchy trousers with stretchy waistbands, so perhaps it is not just me that is expanding round the waist!

silversurf Thu 06-Oct-16 12:03:35

None. Most uncomfortable garment invented.
