My eyes are super sensitive so only use Clinique or Clarins eye make up. But I get allergic conjunctivitis from lots of other sources: pollen, grass seeds, hot weather, animal dander and flea infestations. Drives me crazy. And antihistamines make me feel woozy. But do try Clinique and ask the sales staff what their policy is regarding allergic reactions to their products.

I have problems with adverse reactions to any liquid cosmetics, including eye make-up and foundation. I have found so-called allergen free brands are as troublesome as standard brands. I now only use brands advertised as 'organic. For the last 5 or 10 years I have been using a brand called 'Lavera' which I buy online. I use their foundation and mascara. I do not seem to have a problem with eyebrow pencils or powder eyeshadow. I do not use eyeliner

I have not worn eye make up for years because my eyes have always watered badly so I gave up trying. Now I see several companies advertise special mascara etc for sensitive eyes and I'd like to have another go. Can anyone recommend a reliable brand, and what would happen if they made my eyes water- would I get a refund do you think? Some are quite pricey.
