Aftershave for teenager

Woody or spice might actually be a bit heavy, try looking at something perhaps more citrus or what I think are called "green" scents, sort of grassy or ferny, if that makes sense!

Not sure how they are price wise, but Davidoff Cool Water or Dior Eau Sauvage might smell right.

Never thought of that phoenix, it sounds lovely. I will go and have a look. Do not want him smelling like a girl, nor do I want the other boys to make fun of him. He needs something to close his pores though. It would be awful if they all had strong smelling aftershave on in the classroom wouldn't it.

The Hugo Boss range all seem to appeal to all the young ones. Only needs a tiny amount. PLEASE don't get him an "old mans" smelling aftershave.

The assistants in the larger Boots stores are very helpful if you tell them your price range and the age of the person it is for.

The Perfume Shop does (or used to) do a gift pack with lots of sample sized bottles. It included a £10 voucher towards any full size bottle from those in the pack. I haven't bought one for a few years but it is a good Xmas present if they still do them.

I like Davidoff nice fresh clean smell

My son likes Davidoff and also Calvin Klein Obsession, neither are too strong smelling. If you look around they are often half price (around the £25 mark) and I have bought them in Boots or Fragrance shop.

Kids today will have their favourites ( usually the ones their mates are using ) there will be 'in' and 'not in' smells my grandson likes the lynx brand but only certain ones I'd defiantly have a chat with his mum or sister ( if he has one) my granddaughter knows everything about her brother we always get the low down, being a typical boy I don't think he would know anything about her tastes LOL

Maybe the men in my family are all softies but I thought after shave was a thing of the past and most men now used a balm or moisturiser after shaving, Nivea do a great one.
The smell of Lynx which surrounds teenage boys particularly after a games lesson can be overpowering. Schools have sometimes banned aerosols in changing rooms because they keep setting off the smoke alarms!

Yes but that's what they like Trisher who wants to be using old spice if all their mates are using Lynx LOL ?

Are you sure he'd wear it? (Especially if his Gran had bought it for him...)

I think a good splashing with cold water would close his pores just as well!

Another one here who thinks Davidoff Cool Water is a winner. Light and fresh and won't break the bank.

Before you buy from the high street have a look at the Fragrance Direct site. Some of the suggestions made by others are currently on sale at half price.

I have bought from them on several occasions and can confirm what they sell is the genuine article.

The Issy whatsisface for men is also quite light.

Boots, lloyds& Superdrug usually have those fragrance selection boxes at this time of year, makes a nice gift for about £10 and does give the recipient a chance to try a few different smells.
