I used to buy things from Damart, but haven't for ages.
I've seen a promotion for a jumper, made of acrylac knit, with a tunisian collar for 9.90€. About £7. Good choice of colours.
Is the quality still as good as it used to be?

I'm afraid I've no idea, but I'm sure someone will have! smile

(What's a tunisian collar? confused)

30 years ago a friend gave me a pair of thick blue cotton Damart trousers she'd just bought. After shortening them she realised she wouldn't wear them. They were my go to walking trousers for years, much more comfortable than jeans. I wore them to school as the deep 'men's' white cotton pockets easily held keys, pen, rubber, chalk, odd confiscated items, loose change.
They've almost been jumbled many times, had buttons moved after I lost weight and were relegated to the back of the wardrobe. Then I realised that they were the only pair I owned with a sensible pocket for a mobile phone. Must tell the friend, who will have long forgotten them, how great they have been and still are!
I too am interested to know whether Damart have maintained their exceptional quality.

I have had small brochures through the post but have never bought anything from them although some things look quite appealing. I can't say anything about the quality

Mam buys from Damart and is very happy with the quality although paying delivery and return postage annoys her.

Thermal underwear etc is available from most clothing stores these days.

I haven't found any difference in quality, but Damart's prices (plus postage) are quite steep.

I think I'll give it a miss - I don't think they'll be warm enough, especially at that price.
Ana the advert said tunisian collar. It's a sort of turtle neck with buttoned opening.
