I rarely buy waterproof mascara however now is the time for a change as I notice that when I take my makeup off at night, I have dark smudges under my eyes. Any recommendations.

When I was a child I shaved off my eyebrows, seemed like a good idea at the time. My Dad said I looked like a panda. Different problem?

Not sure why you'd think waterproof mascara is the answer if you have smudges under your eyes after removing your usual kind.

Perhaps you should be considering a different eye makeup remover? I use Boots cucumber cleanser for everything, can't stand anything greasy!

Ana I meant that the smudges are under my eyes an hour or so after putting the mascara on. I only notice it at night when I go to take my make up off.

Try this one Nankate

I really like DHC products and this is one of their best.

I used to have the same problem until I learnt about tubing mascara on GN. It coats each lash in a tube which stays put and doesn't smudge until you choose to remove it by soaking the lashes in warm water for 30 seconds (I use a wet flannel)then gently rubbing off the intact tubes. I have worn it for smimming and it stays put, as long as you don't rub your eyes obviously. It even survived a trip for an eye examination with the addition of drops. Blinc is the most popular brand I believe, but I like L'Oreal which includes a white primer. Available at Boots or cheaper on line.
