Back Lace Boots

My husband just bought me a gift of high boots that lace up the back. I am sixty years old and feel these boots are to young for a sixty year old. Am I right or wrong? Don't want to hurt his feeling and return them if I'm being silly. I'm a slim 60 year old.
They happen to fit good, and I usually have a hard time finding boots that fit.

I wouldn't wear them if they are the thigh high skin tight patent ones grin but otherwise I'm sure they'll look very nice.

Think carefully about whether you will wear them. Will they be comfy and will you feel good in them? If the answer to either question is no take them back and get something different. Just tell DH the fit is not quite right if you decide to change them.

They sound great. I have some that lace up the front, and fondly imagine they make me look like a sassy Victorian streetwalker woman. According to OH, they look like surgical appliances. I've obviously got my laces on the wrong side.
