Snap again Kitty I too use Aussie volumiser but it is the two in one type, then Aveda hair thickner, then a rotating hot brush and now when the whole lot is totally dry I will give my hair a quick flick under with this new/old Braun. It has taken me until I am 70 to get my hair under control. I have found a really good hairdresser too who cuts it beautifully.

Last week I was in a queue in a NT cafe and a young woman complimented me on my hair cut and highlights. I was thrilled as I don't have highlights just a mix of silvery grey blonde hair au naturel

I used to have one of those but I must have thrown it out. It was really good. I use a heated roller brush now to tame my hair.

Nina, I use aussie volumising shampoo, conditioner, stuff out of a small purple bottle, a hairdryer, a hot brush, gel and spray. Mine looks fine most of the day but no-one could run their fingers through it!!!

And, who's going to do it in the nursing home?

Yes I've got one that I use to add "flicks" to my hair sometimes. It's handy when cruising as electri sockets are often in short supply.

I use strong hold mousse when blow drying my hair. It looks ok for about 15 mins after
