Last summer I bought a set of three Lycra vest tops, in different colours with a wider shoulder strap rather than the shoestring type. I have worn them such a lot so now looking to get more in different colours. In summer they were great on their own, now I west them under a dress or V neck top. As they are Lycra they kept the shape through lots of washes.
I bought mine in Italy - where can I get some over here? The ones I've seen are cotton rib which might not keep their shape.

I get vest tops from Topshop. They're cotton not Lycra but they haven't lost their shape.
And they're so cheap it wouldn't matter if they did smile

Reflections do a wide strap vest top
I think they sell them as wide strap camisoles.
They have a good selection of colours.

I love skinny tees which I buy on a well known shopping channel - they do the wider strap as well as the shoestring type - they're not meant as shape wear but do a very good job at that too smile On the other hand I also wear Primark camis which do have the thin straps but are so smooth and comfy they're great under other tops.

Try Uniqglo tank tops they are the best. I wear one all the time.

Thank you for the link suzied. Love the main picture of tank top with scalloped edge but can't find how to buy it. Am I missing something? Also love the idea of the built in bras on some of their tops.

Have a look in Primark. The vest tops are so cheap, comfy and come in a multitude of colours.
