Another hair removal thread!

giulia I usually get the tweezers for any wiry ones I can see or feel, but this thing seems to be working pretty well on the dreaded moustache that I used to have to have waxed.

Phoenix - thanks for this tip. Can you tell me if this is good for wiry facial hairs or only for light "fuzz"?

My GP has been prescribing it for a couple of years

Having done your sandpapering phoenix do you fill in the cracks with polyfiller, then re plaster and paint over with a Matt finish emulsion

Still using it, and still very happy with the results.

Just use normal cleanser/toner/moisturiser, obviously use the abrasive thing reasonably gently, after all we are not sanding down paintwork!

One of the things that I have been especially pleased about, is that it seems to work well on the fine down on my cheeks, which is apparently is usually only dealt with by "threading", which doesn't seem to be available locally.

So to sum up, so far, so good. No chemicals, no pain, no time spent in salons, minimal expense!

Wow! I just googled Vaniqa and it costs £80.50 a tube!!! Can't imagine my GP prescribing it any time soon.

paddyann Do you get your cream from the GP on prescription?

dont use them too regularly or you'll have a very sore face ,I use it on my legs but its too rough on facial hair so I get cream from the gp ,its called Vaniqua and a tube lasts for at least 2 months .I'd recommend it ,takes a wee while but works well after a couple of weeks
