I always swore I would never wear a christmas jumper, until this year. I saw one in a charity shop window. It had tiny pugs with christmas hats, and I just knew I would wear it at least once, and I have, to a christmas lunch with friends.

Mine are a bit too tasteful really. A pale green with a dainty holly leaf motif and a red and cream holly knit. I was tempted by a knitted dress with a huge reindeer on it last year, but my size had sold out. Time for a bit of jumper browsing.

I have one bought recently and cheaply from A.S.D.A wore today and it will have a few more outings this year. Great fun (think it's my age!)

Tees (festive ones) are a good idea, I never wear jumpers.

I have a Christmas t-shirt and a jumper. So if it gets a bit warm I can just wear the t- shirt.
We are all at DD3s on Christmas Day and the rule is Christmas tops on and she will be suppling Christmas socks. It’s a bit of fun and they can be bought fairly cheaply. Mine will get a couple of other outings as well and then be put away for another year.

I have 3 or 4 bought for me as presents over the last few Christmases. Fun for the little ones .

After sweltering, last year, in a heavy knitted festive jumper I have now got a couple of red T-shirts.One with Rudolph, the other Xmas puds.
Much cheaper and more comfortable.tchsmile

I feel a bit like anno I don’t begrudge spending the money on a sweater but feel guilty spending money on something worn perhaps once or twice.

I love them. Work in an infant school so are fun to wear. Also have small grandchildren. Would wear my sparkly one anyway. Why not have a bit of fun. Dont want to grow old.

I would begrudge paying for a garment that was intended to be worn once a year!

I've got one for our works lunch tomorrow.

I have two. Start wearing them in December and hardly take them off. I like to get value for money!
Didn't wear one to the hospital appointment though....

Yes, last year festive "elf" jumper with large sequinned red and green elf sewn on the front.
Topped it off with elf ears head-band and pointy elf slippers.
I looked ridiculous/crazy/festive....take your pick.
BUT I won the family party prize as the best dressed Christmas person!

I saw this sweatshirt on an Asda poster and just wanted one so came home and ordered blush! I already have a black one with a silver snowflake and don't know whether I shall wear either. The GCs are growing up and are 'too cool' for frivolity so I may be the only daft one at family gatherings.
Have you been tempted to wear a festive top?
