Film on lips

Hi Purple, Max factor do a good lipstain with a separate moisturising lip balm that is applied on top when the lip stain has dried. There’s a reasonable choice of colours, the lippie doesn’t come off on anything, and lasts all day. It’s easy to clean it off with makeup remover or wipes, even Vaseline.

Clarinb Lip Oil will restore your perfect pout- its lovely.

Also try a lip primer which helps stop feathering and helps keep lipstick stay put. Maybe look at the Look Fabulous Forever tutorials about applying lipstick too.

Loreal have a nice one similiar to Max Factor which i prefer, and better colour range,it stays on like concrete,[ well not as bad] but does last forever,

Hi this lipstick thing can be a problem when we girls get older and I have always loved wearing lipstick. Now that I am 78 and my skin is paler I sometimes look washed out and just long to use lipstick that doesn't clog or run..I read the article on lipsticks and was thrilled when I discovered I could get a lipstick that lasted and slightly stained the lips to give me some colour all day even after eating and drinking...also cheap at £4.99p. from Superdrug try, Barry M. there are 3 shades..When you open them to look at the colour they will surprise you.. one is green and that becomes deep pink.. one is yellow and that becomes coral and the other one is black and becomes damson...Just one application last all day and even until the next day after washing your face.....A great discovery..

I bought one of those Barry M lipsticks in the old packaging/ colours not realising it was a colour changing one and it will be a different colour on each person!

I bought one that was pale pink and later quickly applied it as you would a lip balm by generously rubbing it over my lips. A quick glance in the car mirror and that was that. I went out and about and on my way home chatted to a neighbour and then indoors the absolute horror of seeing that what I thought would be nude pale lips was bright fuschia that was badly smudged all around my mouth!

Nothing wrong with bright fuschia if properly applied but I had smeared so much on it was over my lip line and looked awful. I thought I'd bought a nude sheer balm!
