Covering up grey hair

I'd have used it. Bit late now though...

I think I would try that. It sounds like a good idea. I must look at the men's grooming in boots

Don't do it! My DH (Mr Vain) tried one of those comb through products, it looked fake and he stopped using it.

Gave up hair dye in 2014. Best decision ever!

Depends how your hair goes grey. I have a cute (not) eskimo ruff of grey/white hair, a couple of inches deep that goes from ear to ear. The rest of my hair is dark. My aunt went grey in a similar way. I didn't think it an attractive look on her and it certainly isn't on me, so I dye it, once every three or four months. Do it myself, it takes no time at all.

I think an all over colour looks false once your hair turns grey. I'm mostly grey now apart from at the very back where it's still dark brown so I have my hairdresser put in a few brown lowlights with foils, every six weeks. It just takes the edge off the grey & I only pay fifteen pounds a time.

I used to dye mine at home using a very light sort of blonde chestnut, which looked fairly natural. Every ^ weeks. But since my shoulder problem has got worse decided to go au naturel.
It's now a mixture of white and gingery blonde, so not too bad.
It seems to be in better condition too.

Every 6 weeks.

Let it go, keep it nicely cut & it can look quite elegant.
