I couldn't give a monkey's! I like my Sloggi pants

I wear the same style as golden girl but haven’t been able to find them recently. Also like sloggi.
Incidentally I have suffered from restless leg syndrome for years, recently I discovered by accident that a larger size brief with more thigh room alleviates the problem.
Brief, who am I kidding, larger knickers with wider thigh room.

Sloggi for me!

But surely you have a right to return them if they're clearly mis-labelled inishowen? I would certainly take them back and complain!

Another benefit of seams at front is if you wear knickers in bed and sleep on your side. For example during hospital stays or if you wear pads.

I bought a pack of size 18 M&S knickers the other day. They are normally nice and roomy. I couldn't get these ones over my thighs! I don't have big thighs by the way. I am so cross as they have a policy of not refunding on knickers, but these we obviously not size 18.

That's with what you say ???

Here here CC. I agree so much other what you say.

I don't buy an M & S bra unless they have the knickers to match that I like...proper ones... I just put them on...never ever found a pair of their knickers uncomfortable. I have more important things on my mind to think about...hahaha

CC Agree with every word! I go to Bodas for undies now - at first sight the prices are 'Wow' - BUT they do NOT wear out. I started with them as am 30 underband and it was very hard to find at that time - stay as the fit and quality are *

I have always bought my underwear from M&S but find the quality has really deteriorated. The cotton is much thinner and the elastic band comes undone after a few washes. What a shame!

I have resorted to buying knickers from Germany when I visit my daughter there. Such lovely quality!

You're right Jane10, the new cotton just isn't the same. Their supima cotton bedding also dropped in quality before it was discontinued.
I buy various styles of pants including their cotton shorts and wish that they would be a bit more adventurous with colour. They do lots of coloured pants with rather dated patterns. I prefer plain but their colour range is limited - perhaps they only do colours which go with their own bras? I don't wear their bras as they don't fit/support me well despite using their fitters.
Whilst on the subject of M&S, I wish that they would do simple, plain pure cotton pyjamas without cropped legs. I don't like the sets with T-shirt tops, or jersey, or indeed the nightwear styles they do in general.
I've also tried in vain to find a cream v-necked jumper - the necks are all so low that you need something underneath them. They used to do lovely (thicker) cashmere, now it is thinner, perhaps that is why I can't get cream as it is transparent?
In general just wish that they would go back to selling excellent quality, simply designed clothes.

I find I'm wearing my older M&S pants rather than my newer versions as the cotton they're made of seems much better quality. Sigh. Fancy pants are all very well but but it's how they feel that matters!

I wear their no visible pantie line knickers and they have seams at the side - no problem to me; they're very comfortable being high waisted and the little bit of lace makes them pretty to wear.

Let's hear it for big knickers ladies. grin
At least M&S listened to the customers for once.

The old ones I have have two seams at the front, one either side of the tummy area ( I hesitate to post a photo). I think the complaint was that the side seams altered the cut/shape of the pants making them less comfortable. I have dozens of these old style no VPL full briefs, so will not replace until new supplies hit the shops. They are the most comfortable ever and I always buy a size larger than my dress size.

What is all the fuss about M&S knickers? I have read that due to popular demand M&S have backtracked on the design of some 'granny pants' and put the seam back at the front instead of the sides. I always wear M&S pants (not particularly big/high waisted ones though) and they have seams at the sides which I have never found uncomfortable. How can you have seams at the front?
