I don’t use foundation, but I do use DD or CC cream, which is really a tinted moisturiser with sun protection etc. It just evens out the skin tone, but doesn’t look like makeup- I find foundation too thick, and it seems to sit on the skin, and get in all the wrinkles! At the moment I’m using Creme prodigeuse DD creme by Nuxe, but I tend to go for special offers. I’ve used Aldi’d own brand before, and it’s just as good as more expensive brands. I use a serum in the morning, and once a week I use a clay face mask. I’ve always washed my face with soap and water.

I read into todays Times (supplement) that its now all about Vitamin C in facial creams but also in fruit and vegetables so we need to increase our levels. Other than that I find Clarins products to be the best for me. Its a good idea to take the time for a full consultation at one of the franchises to learn about how the products work together - the occasional facial is fantastic but can be pricey.

During the really hot weather i stopped using foundation as i felt it made me feel hotter!!
Now the weather has turned i have not gone back to it and my skin feels and looks so much better.I have got a slight summer glow which probably helps but i dont think in the future i will bother for the day time just for a special event in the evening.
It is wonderful not to have to bother with make up apart from a little bit of mascara. The best thing, no one has even noticed or if they have they haven't said. Try going make up free it is liberating and you may end up looking fresher and more natural.

Help needed! smile

I'm really struggling with my makeup at the moment and find that so many products make my wrinkles look more exaggerated - not what I need!

Does anyone else struggle with makeup or have any tips/tricks to help? grin
