Oh!! what a crying shame Tannith,as soon as I saw the heading I was in here like a shot because I must admit I have a great liking for these Jump suits, what pleases me even more is that my DH thinks they are the best thing ever designed for us ladies!!
On reading further and hearing both your dilemna and disappointment my spirits sank alongside yours.
Indeed this can be one big drawback though if you get one of a material with quite a percentage of lycra or similar they are quite easy to slip in and out of.
I guess that is of no help to you having purchased and obviously love this one you`ve bought............and yes it really is a corker.
My commiserations indeed.
I can but hope out of all the advice you may find a solution.
But please do not give up on them, just be a little more canny when next you go looking for another Jump suit, as speaking from experience there are many that have overcome this same dilemna.

That's a shame tanith, hope you find something else to wear that you like just as much.

Re hard to pull up or down zips, I always use vaseline, works a treat.

Icyalittle I thought about trying polish but thought they might object to the smell if it didn’t work and I asked for a refund.

Oh, and what make was it? I have been looking for one for ages and yours sounds lovely.

Sorry, couldn’t make the link work!

tanith Tue 01-May-18 15:17:36

I’ll try that before I take it back annsixty ?

If you decide to keep it, you may be able to lubricate the zip a little to make it easier. Something like Lakeland’s for Wooden furniture www.lakeland.co.uk/8998/Free-n-Easy-Silicone-Lubricant-For-Wooden-Furniture-35ml?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIprmshdnk2gIVq53tCh2tAwaJEAQYASABEgKiwfD_BwE&src=gfeed&s_kwcid=AL!49!3!255261706992!!!g!296042671099!&ef_id=Wuh2FgAAAeZr5vGN:20180501141342:s

You could always wear it back to front tanith?

tanith Tue 01-May-18 15:06:52

It really wouldn’t work girls the zip is meant to be invisible it’s so hard to move the zipper part up or down I might check the others to see if it’s just mine that’s so hard to pull if not I shall mention it to customer services. I’m going away at the weekend and OH isn’t coming I don’t fancy asking my son or a stranger to unzip me for a visit to the loo??

I was just going to suggest the same thing momb don't take it back Tanith

mumofmadboys Tue 01-May-18 14:37:57

Can you attach a thread or ribbon to the zip to facilitate undoing and doing up and then put it down the back of it when you are wearing it??

tanith Tue 01-May-18 14:34:52

I just bought a summer jumpsuit not something I’ve worn for many years, it just caught my eye in navy and white pinstripe and I dared to try it on and low and behold it fit perfectly and looked lovely.
It wasn’t till I got home and OH had to do the long zip up and undo it again that I realised I wouldn’t be able to get out of it by myself to should I need to pee. The zip was one of those nylon ones and not easy to pull up or down and I’m really disappointed but it will have to go back. ?
