Sorry but who is Kate Spade?

I haven’t heard of her either (off to Google)

Quite a few articles, this was the first I came across.

ate Spade, a fashion designer known for her sleek handbags, was found hanged in the bedroom of her Park Avenue apartment Tuesday in an apparent suicide, law enforcement officials said.

The 55-year-old was found by housekeeping at about 10:20 a.m. Her husband and business partner Andy Spade was in the house at the time. It's not clear how long she had been dead and the medical examiner will perform an autopsy.

Neither have I but it is very sad when someone takes their life, they leave so many devastated people behind. ?

But thoughts go to all people who take their lives in sadness

I hadn’t heard of her either. But I do wonder whether people who do this ever stop to think of the effect on the person who discovers their body.

Haven’t heard of her either, but sorry that she’s hanged herself. Feel sorry for anyone who feels this is the only way out, for the poor person who found her and for those who loved her ?

Apparently she has a 13 year old daughter.

I guess those who are driven to suicide are often in such a dreadful place that they can no longer think of the future. How sad for her and for her family.

When I first heard the name, I assumed she was probably a singer or other show business celebrity.

But suicide is a tragedy, especially for the young children of the deceased. What point has someone reached that they think their child is better with a mother who has committed suicide than one that is living, even if unwell.

How sad, whenever anyone ends their own life. She designed lovely handbags.

Never heard of this lady, but all suicides are a tragedy, both for the person themselves and the family.

I didn't know who she was either until I heard the whole news item, probably because I'm not really that interested in fashion.

I'd heard of Kate Spade. I don't know where from as I could certainly never afford anyting from designers. How sad. She seemed to have everything going for her which just goes to show how depression and such like can get hold of people. They are saying today that she had suffered depression and had left a suicide note which seemed to blame her husband for her death. Tragic, especially for her young daughter.

Not heard of this lady, so deeply sorry for her and for those who loved her.

I'd only become aware of her of late, have seen some of her handbags in a couple of department stores. Always sorry to hear when someone takes their life because of depression.
