Beige

I was once passing a community centre just as people were leaving after an event for "older" people. It was a sea of grey hair and beige clothes. I vowed never to wear beige again!!

My mum wore an awful lot of beige - nuff said!!

Funnily enough I noticed that there was quite a lot of beige in M&S yesterday and none of it looked very appealing or flattering. Apart from looking badly made and shoddy, this one even looked frumpy on the model too.

I steer clear of beige in any of its incarnations. My skin tone doesn't suit it. Moreover, I don't suit mustard either, and I see it appearing in spring collections. I was in Tesco, and the mustard dresses there were hideous. Not that I shop for clothes in Tesco very often.

Me to teetime. I am a dab hand at creating beige blandness. With my pale skin and brownish hair I look like a wax work model.?

Ah but there’s beige and there’s beige!
Camel usually suits most people, with ivory, navy or black.
I agree about taupe which I think needs strong coloured hair (brunette or red)
Cream is also flattering -great with a pop of red.
But the bottom line is - if you don’t like any colour and it does nothing for you, stuff the Sunday Times!
